Event Schedule
The Colorful Soles Fun Run has a set schedule for early packet pick up, race day check in, and the start of the run. It’s important to be aware of the fun run timeline so everyone can have the best possible experience. Be sure to arrive with enough time to park, check-in, go to the bathroom, and prepare for an awesome race experience.
Race organizers will be inside the CNY Family Sports Centre from 5pm to 8pm if you would like to pick up your race packet and check in early. Once checked in, you’ll be able to directly to your assigned color station on race day without having the stop at the check in table.
Similar to Friday’s early packet pickup, race organizers will be inside the CNY Family Sports Centre from 10am to 1pm if you would like to claim your race packet and check in early. Once checked in, you’ll be able to directly to your assigned color station on race day without having the stop at the check in table.
If you didn’t already pick up your race packet and/or check in on Friday or Saturday, you must stop by the check in area located at the entrance to the upper fields. At check in, you’ll receive your race packet, color band, assigned color station, etc.
With only a $5 donation, you’ll get five shots on goal. Receive an exclusive “Ava’s Angels” wristband just for trying! For every corner you hit, you’ll get a grand prize raffle ticket…hit all four corners and get a Golden Boot Trophy along with FIVE grand prize raffle entries!
While the intent is to start the fun run at 12pm Noon, the actual start time may vary slightly depending on participant readiness or weather impact. 5-10 minutes prior to the start time, you’ll want to gather at your assigned color station to get final instructions before starting the course at the whistle.
Once you complete your lap(s), gather at the designated group color throw spot for the ultimate finale. There, you’ll be given loads of color to throw high into the air (and at each other) on the count of three. Keep throwing, dancing, and jumping until all the powder is gone!
You are welcome to stay on site to hang with family and friends, participate in the Golden Boot Challenge, or visit the color blowing area to get a quick dust off before driving home.
