Do you enjoy giving back to your community? Would you like to donate your time in honor and remembrance of Ava? We’d love to welcome you as a volunteer on race day.
With three specific areas of need, we hope you’ll offer to be part of the Colorful Soles Crew!
FUN RUN SET-UP CREW
10+ people needed from 9:00am-10:00am
We have a LOT of work ahead of us to pull off an event of this size, and being a team of two, you can see why we need help getting everything ready on race day. We’ll also need two or three people willing to help manage check-in from 10am – 12pm noon.

FUN RUN COLOR THROWER
50+ people needed from 12:00pm-1:00pm
Without enough color throwers, participants just won’t have the same experience. We are in desperate need of at least 40 adults willing to position themselves at an assigned color station and toss colored powder as our runners pass by.

FUN RUN BREAK-DOWN CREW
10+ people needed from 1:15pm-2:00pm
We’ll need help gathering everything from each color station (water, flags, bases, other supplies) and also breaking down the tables and race areas. Nothing too difficult, but it’s a lot for two people to do alone, so we’re hoping for some additional help.

All volunteers will gather at the group color throw area to distribute powder and participate in the big finale. While you’ll be given a Fun Run Crew shirt to wear during the event, you WILL get coated in color from head to toe, so make sure you dress accordingly and come ready to be covered in vibrant powder!
